The Forget the PR, Mohican 25k (16.5) and 50k race date will be April 15th 2012.
50k: 7:30 AM race start – 5:30 PM last finisher time cut off. (10 hour finish time).
25k will start at 8:00 am
Number of Participants: 200 limit for 50K and 100 for the 25k
- 50k runners will receive a Forget the PR belt buckle for completion.
- All runners will receive a Forget the PR Tec T-Shirt. (Printing by Wild Bill Shirt Company)
Location: Mohican State Park.
Race Start/Finish: will be at Mohican Adventures Camping 3058 STATE ROUTE 3 SOUTH • LOUDONVILLE, OH 44842 http://www.mohicancanoe.com/ They have RV, Camping, and Cabins (some with hot tubs).
Parking will be just north and adjacent to the Mohican Adventures Campground. The parking location is at Fuller Road or Twp Hwy 3044. This is the same location where the Mohican 100 starts and finishes at.
T-Shirts will be gender-specific.
NOTE: BOTH RACES WILL CROSS A RIVER!
Registration will be available via Active.com 50K: ($65 + processing fee) or paper application for $65. 25K: ($40 + a processing fee) or paper application for $40. Please download and print the registration form and mail to Rob Powell 575 Dirlam Lane Mansfield Ohio 44904. Priority of entry will be based on postmark as the limit of the race is reached. Note: NO REFUNDS NO SWITCHES! Make sure your going to do this race. Plenty of time to plan.
Familiarization Runs: we hope to have these but also encourage anyone who wants to lead one to step up and volunteer. Please let us know and we'd be happy to spread the word. Please use our facebook page to monitor training runs and to let us know which runs you will be at so we can plan.
